How Old Are These Famous Bostonians, According to This Viral App?

The years, and the "#HowOldRobot," have been kinder to some.

Face-recognizing, age-guessing, and unintentionally insulting web app “How Old Do I Look?” went viral this afternoon, prompting users to upload their own visage and discover just how unkind the years might have been.

The app, created by Microsoft, estimates the age of the folks in each photo, as well as the gender. Microsoft engineers Corom Thompson and Santosh Balasubramanian gave a lengthy explanation detailing the magic behind the app and its wildfire-like spread, but it’s much easier to pay no attention to what’s behind the curtain and see what the #HowOldRobot thought of some famous Bostonians.

Here’s what we came up with:

Mayor Marty Walsh and Chief of Staff Dan Koh.
