Mayor Marty Walsh held a fireside Twitter chat with his constituents Wednesday afternoon, tackling topics ranging from the Boston 2024 Olympic bid to his favorite restaurants in town, to public ping-pong tables. One response in particular drew attention:

Walsh unleashed the almighty rickroll—on a civilian! For the uninitiated, rickrolling is the practice of baiting an unsuspecting Internet user into clicking a link, which leads—unexpectedly—to the music video for Rick Astley’s 1987 earworm “Never Gonna Give You Up.”
