Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel Were at Tufts Filming Sex Tape

Those of you who enjoyed Bad Teacher in 2011 can look forward to a reunion of sorts in 2014. Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel will star in Sex Tape, a movie about, well, a sex tape. The two were in Somerville yesterday filming scenes for the movie at the Tufts University campus.

Sex Tape is a comedy about a pair of new parents (Diaz and Segel) whose sex tape (or should we be calling them sex MP4s these days?) is synched to several mobile devices (doh! technology!), prompting them to embark on an adventure to retrieve said digital file. No word yet on just how racy scenes become, but if Diaz and Segel’s previous film together is any indication, we can probably expect a whole lot of inappropriate awkwardness.

Rob Lowe, Rob Corddry, and Jack Black will also star, and Ellie Kemper from The Office has signed on to the project as well. The movie is being produced by Sony Pictures and directed by Jake Kasdan.
