Btone Fitness Is Adding a Location in the North End

The new studio will open right around the holidays.

Btone Fitness is giving its clients an early Christmas present: A new studio in the North End.

Owner Jody Merrill says the studio will open right around the holidays. “We are basically waiting for our shiny new Megaformers to arrive to open,” she says. “If Santa brings the Megaformers a little earlier, then we are ready for that scenario with bells on.”

The new outpost, Btone’s fifth studio, will be located in the old firehouse at 133 Salem Street. (History buffs will be glad to know that Btone plans to keep many of the firehouse’s original features and stonework intact.)

Like Btone’s other studios, the North End location will offer a full schedule of reformer Pilates classes, starting as early as 5:45 a.m. and running until 8:30 p.m.; more classes will be added in January. Merrill says the location will also offer daycare and men’s and women’s locker rooms equipped with showers.

The studio is currently holding a pre-opening sale, during which students can buy six classes for $59.
