Hope you like getting dirty, because Color Me Rad is coming back to the Boston area next month.

Loosely based on Holi, a Hindu festival celebrating color, Color Me Rad is a near-guaranteed way to have some fun while you run—and stain your clothes. You’ll be doused with three kinds of color by the end of the 5K: powder, gel, and slime. The addition of slime is new this year, and is perfect for anyone nostalgic for the 2000s classic Slime Time Live.

The Boston-area race will be held at the Brockton Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 30. (There will also be a race in Providence the weekend before.) After your run, stay for an after-party including music, food, and, yes, more color powder. You’ll already be filthy by that point, so why not?

Registration, which can be completed here, is $40, then goes up to $50 on the day before the race and $55 on the day of the 5K. Bring an extra $10 cash per car for parking.

$40, 4/30, 9 a.m. Brockton Fairgrounds, 433 Forest Ave., Brockton, colormerad.com.
