Romney Girls, Part II

1201638897Most of the time, we here at Boston Daily give you information because it’s something you’d like to hear. Whether it’s news that New Kids on the Block are reuniting (or not) or the comings and goings (mostly goings) of the Herald staff, we like to give you the scoop.

Other times, we have to share something that is so damn awful we can’t believe it’s true. Such is the case with this video by the Mitt Girls. [Link via Wonkette.]

These girls could be the trampy classmates of the original Romney Girl. Instead of wholesomely singing in front of her parent’s garage, the Mitt Girls parade around a gymnasium in short-shorts and shake their ass to the tune of the Christina Aguilera song “Candyman” (which was lifted from “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” by the Andrews Sisters).

1201640061It’s an uncharacteristically salacious video from a couple of young Mitt Romney supporters. After the girls do some gymnastics, they go outside and sing about Mitt’s support of family values while dressed like the girls Ann Romney fantasizes about shivving in her darker moments.

The lyrics are just as awful as the outfits.

Mitt Romney, He’s our man
He’s a one stop, got my vote
Better than the other folks
Mitt Romney, He’s our man
He’s a one stop, got me hot
Makin all the taxes drop. . .

The only thing worse than the lyrics is the production value. The camera shots are bumpier than the ones in the Blair Witch Project, and the music sounds like it came straight out of a Casio keyboard loop. It’s a festival of awful from start to finish. We hope you enjoy it.
