Need Tickets? Xaverian Brothers Is Auctioning Some

Last month, Boston Daily somehow managed to best the Virtual Waiting Room and score tickets to Opening Day at Fenway Park. Since then, several friends have tried to lure us with food and drink to give them up, but we refused.

But there is a way you can get inside the gates on April 8 and watch the team receive their championship rings.

Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood is auctioning off two tickets to Opening Day. The seats are on the first base line and have an unobstructed view. The high bid is currently $950, and proceeds benefit the school’s scholarship program.

If you’re going to pony up the dough, you’d better act quickly. Bidding ends at 9 p.m. tonight. It’s better to pay an exorbitant price that will benefit a gifted teenager rather than some sketchy scalper on Yawkey Way, right?
