The CapeFlyer Returns This Memorial Day Weekend

Skip the traffic and leave already.

The CapeFlyer begins its summer weekend trips from Boston to Cape Cod this Memorial Day weekend, leaving you with positively no good reason to stick around anywhere where you aren’t surrounded by sand and boat shoes and lobster rolls.

Catch a commuter rail train out of South Station at 5:50 p.m. on Friday and arrive in Hyannis for just $22, or $40 round-trip. The trip to Bourne will cost you $20 one-way, or $35 round-trip. The CapeFlyer also runs several trips on Saturday and Sunday, with an additional one scheduled for Memorial Day.

The product of a partnership between the MBTA and the Cape Cod Regional Transit Administration, the CapeFlyer is in its fourth-straight year, helping Cape-goers beat traffic as they escape the city. If you’re looking for a grander summer sojourn, we’ve got you covered, too.
