No, Tom Brady didn’t have a concussion last year. The NFL and NFL Players’ Association have completed an investigation and determined that the GOAT’s dome is fine.

That’s according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, who reports that the probe is over. It included a review of game film, Brady’s health records, protocols for on-field medical staff and neurotrauma experts, according to league spokesman Brian McCarthy, who says there was no “indication that Mr. Brady sustained a concussion or reported signs or symptoms consistent with having sustained a concussion.”

Controversy about the state of Brady’s brain emerged when his wife Gisele Bundchen raised alarms by suggesting the quarterback might have had his bell rung last season. “As you know, it’s not the most, like, let’s say ‘unaggressive’ sport. Right? Football. Like, he had a concussion last year,” Bundchen said on CBS in May. “I mean, he has concussions pretty much. We don’t talk about it, but he does have concussions. I don’t really think it’s a healthy thing for your body to go through, do that kind of aggression all the time, that can not be healthy for you. I’m planning on having him be healthy and do a lot of fun things when we are 100 (years old) I hope.”

The Patriots kick off the season Thursday night at Gillette Stadium against the Kansas City Chiefs. Brady, un-concussed, will be there.
