Menu highlights include grilled paillard of ostrich with grilled peach, house-cured pancetta and Old Chatham’s Ewe’s Blue, and carved Ontario buffalo rib eye with vichyssoise gratin, speck, and horseradish.

2008 marks the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Federation of Mass Farmers Markets. To celebrate, they’re holding an intimate multi-course meal featuring the best of the season’s harvest, including local oysters, New England grown beef, and locally grown fruits and vegetables.

Summer Stages and chef Jody Adams partner up for a series of “cabaret” dinners. Guests will dine on a three-course regional Italian menu, and then watch David Parker‘s Show Down, a dance reinvention of Irving Berlin’s classical musical Annie Get Your Gun on the dining room floor.

Maine Lobster Festival

Harbor Park, Rockland, ME. The Festival opens on July 30th at 10 a.m.
The focus of the festival is fresh, Maine lobster, but this family fair also features a big parade, art work by local artists, a 10K road race, cooking contests, and children’s activities.
