Sweetgreen, the swiftly growing collection of organic, farm-to-table kitchens, will open its third Boston location in Chestnut Hill Square on Wednesday, May 28. To celebrate the opening, Sweetgreen will have a soft opening on May 27 where customers can “Pay What You Want” from noon to 4 p.m., with all proceeds benefiting The Food Project, a local nonprofit that brings youth and adults together to build a sustainable food system through community and youth leadership programs.

The new Sweetgreen will be located at 210 Boylston Street in the Chestnut Hill Square development where it will join SoulCycle, Equinox, Drybar, Athleta, Anthropologie, Francesca’s, and Wegmans.

Like its other locations around the nation, including the Sweetgreens in Back Bay and Fort Point, the Chestnut Hill location will be working with local farmers and purveyors. The opening menu at Chestnut Hill Square will include fruit from Ward’s Berry Farm (MA), goat cheese from Westfield Farm (MA), and bread from Iggy’s.

The 1,813-square-foot space features an open kitchen to showcase Sweetgreen’s in-house preparation of fresh produce. There will also be a dedicated online ordering station to expedite take-out during rush hours. The interior features banquettes and window counters that seat nearly 40 people. The Chestnut Hill location will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
