Boston company Mother Juice opens its third location Friday, September 23, bringing its brand of healthy juices, smoothies, and vegetarian eats to the Back Bay area. Once open, the new, 1,000-square foot storefront will serve as Mother Juice’s flagship location, joining the two-year-old Kendall Square shop and another outpost inside the Boston Public Market.

The Newbury Street location, first announced in March, will offer an expanded menu. Expect new items, like the 6 Juice, a blend of kale, chard, wheatgrass, lemon, ginger, and cucumber; and the Health Bomb Diggity bowl, with rolled oats, chia seeds, coconut milk-soaked flax, banana, berries, local honey, and a sprinkle of fresh granola. Avocado-laden toasts, draft kombucha, nitro cold brew coffee, and more all join Mother Juice’s offerings.

The Boston Public Market tenants have sourced their menu with the help of several fellow New England companies, including Siena Farms, Boston Honey Company, Q’s Nuts, Soluna Garden Farm teas, Taza Chocolate, and more local producers.

The bright white, plant-lined shop seats 12 at tables made from salvaged wood. A below-street level, landscaped patio along Newbury Street accommodates an additional 10 people.

“Growing up in Boston, we have always felt a pull towards Newbury Street as an iconic destination for business,” owners Laura Baldini and Ellen Fitzgerald say in a press release. “We are so excited to bring our homegrown juice bar to one of the most exciting and esteemed addresses in the city.”

Mother Juice will be open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-7 p.m., and on the weekends from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

In other local juice company news, Pressed Juicery debuted its second location to the South End today, Eater Boston reports. Co-owners Ashley Gleeson David Clendenin first opened their plant-focused shop in Beacon Hill in January 2015. The new location brings additions to their menu, too, like root vegetable pad Thai, raw heirloom tomato lasagna, oyster mushroom collard wraps, and more, along with a wider selection of toasts and frozen fruit paletas (popsicles).
