Yiqing Shao, Digital Editor at Boston Magazine

Yiqing Shao has been an editor at Boston magazine since 2012. Yiqing double majored in journalism and English at Michigan State University and has a master's degree in publishing from Emerson College. She's trained in both editing and design, and cares (maybe too much) about hyphenation rules, aligning to the baseline, and proper nesting of HTML tags. She's pro-Helvetica and speaks passable Mandarin and Spanish.
