Marilyn Monroe Immortalized in Makeup
MAC to release eyeshadows and lipsticks to commemorate the screen siren.
First it was the Oscar-nominated film “My Week With Marilyn,” then came NBC’s new show “Smash” with it’s Marilyn Monroe-inspired play; even Blake Lively and Leighton Meester will get dressed up as the late actress for an upcoming “Gossip Girl” scene.
And now, it’s makeup. MAC recently announced to WWD that they will be revealing a limited-edition Marilyn line in October. The collection will include about 30 different lipsticks, eyeshadows, nail polishes and eyeliners.
So pucker up, ladies! Time to draw on the iconic beauty mark.
