Barre is everywhere: Celebrities are endorsing it, studios are popping up right and left, and just about every health and fitness magazine has covered the trend. The ballet-inspired classes, which use isometric movements at the ballet barre to tone and tighten your trouble spots, will make your muscles burn and shake on the way to that long, lean dancer’s body you’ve always wanted. So if you want to see what the hype is all about (or you just want to relive your childhood ballet dreams), check out these Boston barre classes.
