The Last Word

Your long day of corporate drudgery is over. Get out and enjoy the city! Here are a few ideas to get you started, lovingly picked by Boston Daily.cooking_fish.jpg

One of the best things about living in New England is the availability of fresh seafood. Still, it seems cruel to eat a seafood dinner at the Aquarium. (“Hey there, little fishy. I just ate your cousin!”) Celebrate Seafood at the New England Aquarium will host a sustainable seafood dinner and explain how your seafood choices can affect the environment.

Despite our squeamishness with fish, we have no discomfort about eating produce in the very field it came from. Bartlett’s Farm on Nantucket hosts Outstanding in the Field, a five-course family-style meal served al fresco.

Dragon Boats are awesome, and now you can help paddle one. The Boston Dragon Boat Club allows the public to practice with them for free.

We thought all circuses were dirty. The WAAF Dirty Summer Circus hosts pop-rockers Hinder and Buckcherry, among others.
