MBTA Transit Police arrested a man Thursday for indecent assault and battery after he allegedly challenged officers to a fight, claiming to be a ninja.
Police arrived at the Downtown Crossing MBTA station at 9:05 a.m., where a female victim told officers she had been indecently assaulted on her way from the Orange Line to the Red Line by a man now seated on a nearby bench.
When police approached Josue Estrada, 30, of Boston, and he “refused to comply with the officers commands and challenged them to a physical confrontation referring to himself as a ‘Ninja,'” police say.
Police eventually gained control of Estrada and charged him with indecent assault and battery. He is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on Friday.
