Last month we told you about Lobsta Love, a new seafood-themed truck hitting Harvard Square. Now we’ve got news of yet another food truck to head to Boston, this time an import from Miami called “Turkish Delight by Meatballs & ETC.” The meatballs referred to here are kofte, or Turkish meatballs. To find out more about the truck, we spoke with owner Ahmet Karaca.

Karaca runs two trucks in Miami, one that serves frozen yogurt and one that focuses on Greek fare. He decided to open a third truck in Boston, he says, because he attended an extension program at Bentley College 14 years ago and has many friends here. As for the Turkish fare, Karaca wanted to reflect his Turkish heritage and also honor the healthy-food mandate that the city has for local trucks. To that end, in addition to both plain and mozzarella cheese-stuffed kofte sandwiches, find chicken kebabs, stuffed grape leaves, tabouli and several salad options. Obviously one can’t always be virtuous, so there’s also Nutella-slathered Texas Toast for dessert.

Turkish Delight will split its time between Northeastern and Bay Village (check Twitter for updates), and will open for business on October 20. Click the link below for a full look at the menu.
