O Ya's Tim Cushman, No. 9 Park Win Big at the James Beard Awards

Last night marked the James Beard Foundation awards, largely known as “the Oscars of the food world,” and Boston made a mark: O Ya chef/owner Tim Cushman took Best Chef: Northeast, while No. 9 Park won Outstanding Wine Program.

It’s a testament to Boston’s status as a major food city, and we couldn’t be more proud of the winners (and of all of the local nominees, which included Jamie Bissonnette of Toro and Coppa and Joanne Chang of Flour Bakery + Cafe). Find the complete list of winners here.
