Husband-and-wife duo Patrick Lynch and Ali Fong will be opening their second Bon Me brick and mortar location in Fort Point within the next couple weeks. Tentatively set to open in mid-December, the new restaurant joins Bon Me’s existing restaurant at One Kendall Square and its fleet of popular Vietnamese food trucks.

The new 1,300-square-foot Fort Point restaurant will be at 313 Congress Street in the oldest existing building in the neighborhood. Bon Me’s ownership has worked closely with the Boston Landmark Commission to ensure that the restaurant’s design contributed to the historic character of the neighborhood, while incorporating aspects of its food truck roots.

The space will feature an ordering station that resembles a Bon Me food truck, a dining area with a long communal dining table accompanied by bamboo seating, and industrial light fixtures throughout.
