Restaurateurs George Aboujaoude (Newbury Streets’s Cafeteria) and Demetri Tsolakis’ recently opened Mediterranean restaurant, Committee, located in the heart of the Innovation District, is set to debut a new lunch service starting on July 1. Created by executive chef Geoff Lukas (previously of Sofra), the focus is on meze classics such as grape leaf dolmades and baba ganoush; salads like tabouleh and Lebanese Fattoush; and sandwiches stuffed with everything from loukaniko sausage to mackerel and spicy eggplant.

Lunch will run Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. As an added bonus, Committee will kick off its inaugural lunch service by opening its scenic 66-seat patio for the first time. Lukas is set to introduce a late night menu later this summer, something that will run until 2 a.m.
