UPDATE, Wednesday, March 15, 9 a.m.: Missed yesterday’s Ramen Snowstorm Pop-Up at Tiger Mama? Here’s one more chance to revel in ramen: Sweet Cheeks chef de cuisine Dan Raia says 125 bowls will hit his menu there at 9 p.m. on Monday, March 20. Just like old times.

PREVIOUSLY:

Gone are the days of regular Monday night ramen at Sweet Cheeks, but chef de cuisine Dan Raia is breaking out the ladle again for one night only. In honor of the impending blizzard on Tuesday, March 14, Sweet Cheeks sibling Tiger Mama is joining the throng of ramen events this month with a new recipe developed by Raia and Tiger Mama chef de cuisine, Matt Hummel.

The Ramen Snowstorm Pop-Up is in lieu of the regular Tiger Mama menu on Tuesday. The soup will have a miso pork tonkatsu broth, with a choice of smoked, five-spice lamb belly, or char sui pork belly. Additionally, the menu will feature a few fun snacks—check it out in full below. Tiger Mama beverage director Moe Isaza is reporting for duty, too, with a range of snow-inspired cocktails.

Chef/owner and ramen lover Tiffani Faison debuted the dish at her first restaurant in 2014, as a way to keep things fun during the slower winter season in Fenway. As more ramen shops joined the Boston dining scene, though, Sweet Cheeks stopped noodling around each week. The March blizzard is a special occasion—and if the forecast is any indication, it’s going to be a welcome warm-up.

Tiger Mama opens at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, and the Ramen Snowstorm menu is available until it’s gone.
