“Working from home” again? Or maybe, your employer officially shut down office activities today, as the Boston area braces for a messy mix of snow, sleet, and rapid winds. Either way, it’s time for a few dollar oysters, a heaping helping of fried chicken, and a spiked hot chocolate or mug of mulled cider.

If you’re thinking about snowshoeing to your neighborhood go-to, remember to check its Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages to confirm your spot is open. The following restaurants and bars plan to be open today, and are heating things up with snow day deals.
