Kerrie’s first stop was for lunch at the Oyster Club, the newest restaurant on the block where celebrated local chef Chris Parson cooks up classic New England fare. Kerrie said the luxurious yacht club decor and preppy accents drew her in, though it was the perfectly shucked oysters and ultimate Boston lobster roll — with warm and chilled options — that got her hooked.

“Soaking up the sun on their outdoor patio with a lobster roll in one hand and a glass of white in the other may have been the highlight of my week,” she said.

Up next was a visit to view the rare collections of art and jewelry at Skinner Auctioneers & Appraisers, including vintage Tiffany & Co. pieces whose sparkle, Kerrie said, she couldn’t resist. Don’t sweat it if you’ve never been to an auction house before, she added, the staff is super warm and welcoming to newbies, whether you’re selling or buying.

“Their collections are so stunning and so unique that they feel otherworldly, but what I really appreciated was the team there,” she said.

Thanks to advice from her fashionable grandma, Kerrie said she has long believed in quality over quantity when picking out bags, along with the importance of choosing something that can be a future heirloom. The BV Classic bag from Bottega Veneta checked all of the boxes, she said, including being the perfect not-too-big, not-too-small size to fit all of her essentials.

“It’s perfectly constructed from the most beautiful materials and I can absolutely see my own granddaughter wearing this beauty one day,” she said.

When it comes to her wardrobe staples, Kerrie swears by the stylish simplicity of the iconic white shirts from Parisian fashion brand Anne Fontaine. There’s also a no better time to pick one out for yourself thanks to Anne Fontaine’s collaboration with MassArt to create the first-ever “White Shirt Challenge” this past spring. Kerrie said the designs developed by MassArt sophomores were so impressive that she looks forward to when these incredible fashion students create their own labels.

“When it comes to versatility you can’t beat classic styles like the NUAGE, but something more intricate is always a good idea for those moments when you really want to make an impression,” she said.

While the incredible line up of restaurants and boutiques kept her busy, Kerrie said the irresistible location just steps from the Public Garden was the icing on the cake of what makes The Heritage On The Garden so special. Whether you’re a tourist or a local, there’s no better place to shop, dine, and unwind in Boston.

“For me, nothing beats strolling through a beautiful neighborhood boasting impeccably designed and well-curated boutiques with staff who treat you more like a friend than a potential sale,” she said. “This is where The Heritage On The Garden excels.”
