Although you probably don’t need a reason to get away for a few days, we’ve found a perfect one. A funky midcentury-themed hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona, is offering up to 40 percent off its normal booking rates.
The Saguaro Scottsdale’s “Live the Sunny Life” package is welcome treat for sun-starved Bostonians. As long as your trip to the sunny Southwest is booked two weeks in advance, you can enjoy discounted rates through August 31.
The hotel’s expansive outdoor pool allows hours for of soaking up the sun, along with a poolside menu that offers everything from pitchers of margaritas, to tacos, to crab cakes. You can even catch a paddle board yoga class in the pool on Thursday evenings, where participants practice yoga while balancing on stand-up paddle boards.
Plus, the hotel is located in the heart of Scottsdale, so it’s close to plenty of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. You can stroll through Civic Center Park, stop by the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, or take a brewery tour at Goldwater Brewing Co.—all within a 10-minute walk from the lobby.
