Watch Gisele Bundchen’s Chanel No. 5 Short Film

She plays a pensive surfer wife.

Gisele Bundchen—a.k.a. Mrs. Tom Brady, mommy, supermodel extraordinaire, and the epitome of #blessed—graced the Internet Tuesday with the release of her short film for Chanel titled “The One That I Want,” co-starring Michiel Huisman and Lo-Fang and directed by Baz Luhrmann.

Bundchen is the new face of the campaign for the iconic Chanel No. 5 fragrance, following in the footsteps of film stars Nicole Kidman, Audrey Tatou, and—remember?—Brad Pitt.

Luhrmann created an interesting story arc for Gisele’s three-minute feature: “The One That I Want” follows a pensive surfer mom and wife (Bundchen) who is apparently struggling with the balance of “having it all”—“all” being a brooding husband (who is not Tom Brady, but still handsome and probably great), a curly-haired daughter who resembles a fairy, and a nonessential designer surfboard. Chanel also makes tennis gear, for the record.

Though Bundchen is glamorous both in and out of this film, the story is meant to focus on a real woman’s balancing act. Director Luhrmann said in a press conference, via Vogue UK:

In a way Gisele became the script. I knew her when she was quite young and starting out, and she’s evolved so much in both her life and work. The film reflects that—this woman has a child, a real job, and then she has this relationship. Gisele is the Chanel woman now.

Because all women are Chanel women, indeed.
