He’s about bring audiences yet another Wahlberg-produced Boston-based reality show called Breaking Boston, set to premiere in on March 13. The series follows “a group of four blue-collar women in their 20s trying to break the cycle of their peers in a town where education, employment and opportunities are hard to come by.”

Kristina is 29 years old, was in prison for a time when her ex-boyfriend was caught in a drug deal in their home, and is now trying to establish a new life with her new boyfriend Mikey. At just 22, Valerie has had two DUIs and a jail sentence before graduating high school and is trying to put herself through college without financial aid. Noelle is 25 and is working hard to take care of her mother after the tragic loss of her brother. And Courtney, also 25, is a single parent who left school after seventh grade and wants nothing more than to go to beauty school.

Breaking Boston will air on A&E, also home to the hit reality series Wahlburgers, which follows brothers Mark, Donnie, and Paul Wahlberg as they run their family-owned burger joint in Hingham. Most recently, Mark Wahlberg starred alongside Taylor Kitsch in the Oscar-nominated film Lone Survivor and also stars in the upcoming Transformers film slated for summer. Wahlberg has executive produced a number of projects and TV series including HBO’s Entourage and Boardwalk Empire, as well as Wahlburgers.
