Fourth of July, we’re coming for you. Ahead of us lies a long weekend packed with fireworks displays, boat cruises, and Harborfesting. But first, get your holiday weekend started right, with a special Independence Day installment of the ICA’s First Fridays.

For “Party in the USA ICA,” head on down to the Seaport for a night of oceanfront dancing and drinks—including the ICA’s cocktail du jour, the Star-Spangled Sparkler.

For tunes, they’ve got live music by Ruby Rose Fox, the Boston Music Award winner whose soul-driven retro songwriting sounds like something straight off the soundtrack to a Quentin Tarantino movie. Also on deck is DJ YVNG PAVL, the founder of CLLCTV Boston—the same folks that bring you The Wave, Boston’s best dance party.

$15, July 3, 5-10 p.m., Institute of Contemporary Art, 100 Northern Ave., Boston, 617-478-3100, icaboston.org.
