Chris Evans Stopped by Jenny Slate’s Show in Cambridge

Massachusetts’s new favorite power couple took a trip back to their home state over the weekend.
According to People, actor Chris Evans stopped by his girlfriend Jenny Slate’s sold-out stand-up show at the Sinclair in Cambridge on Sunday. The Captain America star was spotted in the background of a photo an audience member took with Slate following her performance.
A few other fans got a better look at Evans while he was in town.

The couple recently made their relationship red carpet official at the premiere of The Secret Life of Pets. Slate, a Milton native, gushed about Evans, who grew up in Sudbury, to Entertainment Tonight at the event, saying, “It’s kind of like I got my dream 7th grade boyfriend.”
“We didn’t know each other growing up, but we grew up about half an hour away from each other,” she also told ET. “We’ve been friends for a while, and, yeah.”
Apparently Slate had a blast at her show in Cambridge, as the comedy star tweeted out that she may have taken a few “too many sips of whiskey” while celebrating her return to the Bay State.

Slate will be back at the Sinclair on Sunday for a second sold-out performance.
