Runners who still have some extra energy after crossing the finish line Monday might want to trek another 1.7 miles to Cocobeet in City Hall Plaza. The organic, cold-pressed juice bar has launched a Boston Marathon-inspired cold-pressed beverage blend that company reps say is “tailor-made for marathon runners.”

The ingredients (sunflower seed milk, chia seeds, beet juice, watermelon juice, lemon juice, pineapple juice, strawberries, dates, and banana) are blended together for a natural, plant-based recovery drink that promotes hydration and muscle recovery. All ingredients used at Cocobeet are GMO-free.

“As a local Boston business, we’re proud to cheer on all of the Boston Marathon runners coming to our city this weekend,” said Onur Ozkoc, cofounder of Cocobeet and a certified nutritionist. “Runners should plan their post-marathon as carefully as they plan their marathon training regiment, and we’re here to help them rehydrate, restore their bodies, and support muscle recovery following the race.”
