Updated on October 17: This event has been re-scheduled to January 12, 2019.

Yoga for the Pups was such a hit in June, all-natural skin-care line Franklin & Whitman is returning in November for a second event. Practice your down dog and then pet actual dogs—it’s a win-win.

The event will be hosted at the Aloft Hotel in the Seaport on November 3. Guests can expect a yoga session led by yoga instructor and Elite Daily writer Georgina Berbari, lunch from Honeygrow, and a live recording of Georgie Morley’s popular wellness podcast, Chasing Joy, which will feature a special appearance by Franklin & Whitman founder Christopher Cieri. And of course, rescue dogs will be there to hang out with during lunch, in between the yoga session and the podcast recording.

Cieri founded the skin care line when he realized how many harmful chemicals were in the products he was using on his own beard. He also found out he could make some more pleasant smelling serums with simple ingredients he found in his home.

The Franklin & Whitman line now features an array of face masks, dry shampoos, serums, and more. Cieri’s love for all types of dogs grew into the company’s mission, and five percent of all sales goes to dog rescues and organizations. Proceeds from the Yoga for the Pups event will go to Last Hope K9, and if you fall in love with a pup on site, you can even begin the adoption process.

And while you’ll be able to munch on healthy cookie dough from PS Snacks while you get some cute puppy snuggles, you’ll also bring home a swag bag full of the brands’ natural face masks and a botanical steam—you’ll literally be bringing the spa experience home. Also, if you register with a friend (because we all know events are better with good company), you save $10.
