Sweet Caroline (Kennedy) Gets Political

While Ted Kennedy is recuperating from surgery in North Carolina, it doesn’t mean the Kennedy clan is entirely removed from the presidential election process. Boston.com reports that Caroline Kennedy is joining a team that will vet possible running mates for Barack Obama.

Somewhere, Patrick Kennedy is pouting because he wasn’t chosen to help.

Caroline Kennedy and former Clinton administration official Eric Holder are joining Democratic insider Jim Johnson to lead the vetting of possible running mates for Democrat Barack Obama, the Associated Press is reporting.

Said Obama spokesman Bill Burton: “Senator Obama is pleased to have three talented and dedicated individuals managing this rigorous process.”
