Fire Union Head Demos the Firefighter's Equivalent of Stealing Office Supplies
It’s been a hot summer and a very, very hot July. So what does Richard Paris, president of the Boston Firefighters Union Local 718 and neighbor of a pool owner, do that leverages his job? Use a fire hose and a hydrant to fill up the neighbor’s pool, of course. “I was just trying to help out a neighbor that was putting a pool up,” Paris said. “Now that I look at it, it was wrong. I messed up and I apologize.” The neighbor has been sent a bill for $116, which hasn’t been paid. [Herald]
