PVRIS

After a few short years, PVRIS might be one of the most successful bands to ever come out of Lowell, Massachusetts.

The electronic rock/alt-pop trio, which began as a metalcore band called Operation Guillotine, has skyrocketed to success since the release of 2014 album White Noise, dominating a full run on the 2015 Warped Tour, gigging with Fall Out Boy and AWOLNATION, and selling out venues all across the United Kingdom and Europe. They even covered Tove Lo for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge series last summer.

Last month, PVRIS released a new single, “You & I”—which inspired Paramore’s Hayley Williams to declare singer Lynn Gunn a “badass”—and the emotive single leads the upcoming deluxe re-issue of White Noise.

Today, the group has announced their own headlining spring tour, via Alternative Press, and it should raise their profiles in the States even higher. It kicks off May 11 in Nashville and wraps with a homecoming gig at Royale in Boston on June 10. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
