Big Shoes to Fill

Tall girls have enjoyed trend-driven shopping solutions ever since Rock & Republic made 36-in. inseams de rigueur and ubiquitous tunic-style tops ensured adequate torso coverage. But one market hasn’t quite been cracked: shoes.

Enter Katie Kerrigan. After suffering a youth filled with shopping indignities (like scouring six malls for size-11 prom shoes, and still winding up with something orthopedic), the 28-year-old Chicago entrepreneur launched her own line of footwear, available in sizes up to 15.

Now Kerrigan’s bringing her collection to Boston. Her cute flats and peep-toed heels will be available at Footstock Shoes in Wellesley. Here are a few of our favorites:
