Temple St. Clair & Target

By Anne Vickman

We’ve spent years pining after jewelry designer Temple St. Clair’s luxurious old-world creations sold at Saks. But because paying Boston rent has always been more of a necessity than beautiful baubles, we’ve always told ourselves no.

But now St. Clair has gone and done what we’ve always (secretly) wanted her to do: partnered with Target on a line of affordable accessories, which debuts in stores and online this Sunday. Look for 14-carat gold-plated cuffs, earrings, rings, and necklaces with colorful cabochons, granulation detailing, and mystical charms.

And — swoon — the price range won’t smack at $30 to $50.

“Working to create a bright and affordable collection was easy with Target; they provided all the right resources to make it possible to translate my aesthetic and love of color,” says St. Clair. “I look forward to offering these stylish pieces to a new and wider audience of women.”

Well played, Temple. We’re definitely on board with this budget-friendly find.

See Temple on Thursday, October 14, 2010 from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Saks Fifth Avenue Boston, 800 Boylston St.
