Five Yoga Studios Open New Year’s Eve
New Year’s Eve usually goes down in one of two ways:
1. You spend a week finalizing plans, a few days calculating your budget, and at least 45 minutes to get all dressed up—all for an evening that, sadly, will end in some sort of disappointment either via wallet or hangover.
2. You stay home on the couch with your family, friends, and/or significant other.
Fortunately, this year, there’s another way to ring in the New Year: with yoga! Who needs a kiss at midnight when you can be in savasana? Below, we found five yoga studios open New Year’s Eve, so you can really start the year off right.
Siri Bani Kaur, the studio’s co-owner, will be joined by her musician husband, Gurusangat Singh, for the studio’s annual event with the goal of banishing any unwanted stress from 2014 to clear the way for enlightenment in 2015. Vegan desserts and tea will be served.
