The Problem

A husband and wife with busy lives raising three children and traveling on their yacht purchased a 6,000-square-foot Milton home with an indoor pool, but a rainbow of colors and mix of patterns kept the natatorium from being the relaxing oasis they desired.

The Solution

The couple turned to Michael Ferzoco, principal of Eleven Interiors, to scale things back while increasing the functionality of the space. The first step? Repainting and refurnishing with a blue-and-white color palette to match the homeowners’ nautical lifestyle. In addition to incorporating custom Duralee drapery and a glass Ann Sacks mosaic tile, Ferzoco added a lounge area with built-in cabinetry and a small kitchen, as well as two dressing rooms and a bathroom. “It’s just a very cool retreat for them,” he says.
