Modern Condo Conversion

What were your inspirations for this project, and how did they align with the homeowner’s goals?

This project involved a major renovation of a condo unit in Cambridge. The homeowner purchased the property with the intention of transforming it into a guest space for family visits and a convenient place to stay closer to work. The design inspiration focused on creating a modern yet family-friendly environment. As a result, we carried out a comprehensive renovation of the entire condo. In the living room, we installed new flooring and updated the lighting with modern track fixtures. The kitchen was completely remodeled, featuring new cabinets and fixtures. Additionally, we undertook a complete gut renovation of two bathrooms and three bedrooms to enhance the overall functionality and aesthetics of the space.

Why do you love this project?

With condo projects you always have to operate within the existing footprint, as there is no option to add square footage. This limitation is both incredibly challenging and incredibly rewarding. Discovering innovative ways to enhance the beauty of a space within the confines of an existing structure is one of the many reasons we love this project.
