Have a Colorful (and Sweet) Wedding

The new issue of Boston Weddings is now on newsstands and the interwebs. We shot the gorgeous 24-page fashion feature (“A Colorful Affair”) over three days in October. The above dessert table, styled by the lovely and talented Kara Butterfield, was done up in aqua and light orange — one of the three fresh color combos we highlighted.

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to include the decorated treats that Cookie Creatives by Jennifer sent us, but they were so pretty that I just have to blog about them. Pasty design artist Jennifer Burkhart dolls up each buttery cookie with vanilla almond royal icing and then attaches homemade flowers.
