Kevin Hart Is Organizing Another 5K Run
Kevin Hart, best known for being a comedian and actor, recently added a new title to his resume: health and wellness app ambassador. And he’s taking his new job very, very seriously. The funnyman has been organizing spontaneous 5K runs in cities like Boston and Atlanta and is threatening promising more.
Earlier this month, when Hart was in town for his “What Now?” tour, he tweeted out to his 19.8 million followers that he was putting together a 5K run along the Chestnut Hill Reservoir. Nearly 300 people laced up their sneakers. Now, he’s going for round two—except this time, he wants 500 people to show up.
On June 24, Hart Tweeted, “Boston because it was so nice I’ve decided to do it twice…I have the day off on Saturday so I’m going to do another spontaneous 5k Run.”
Hart is announcing the exact details Friday, June 26 at 5 p.m., with the run scheduled to start at 8:15 a.m. the next day (Saturday).
