The fun doesn’t end at the Encore Boston Harbor casino when you’ve had enough of the black jack tables and your luck has run out at the slot machines. Besides the multitude of fine dining options, where you can sample classic New England cuisine and sip crafted cocktails, book a spa therapy or squeeze in a workout at the fitness center—both are quite extravagant.
When you walk into the 1,900-square-foot spa, you immediately step into an oasis of rest and relaxation. The lounge rooms come complete with soothing music, the aroma of yuzu and white tea, snacks, and even a large television and fireplace. While you’re waiting for your therapy, you’ll be escorted into a co-ed room where you can kick your feet up in a recliner.
But the best part is walking into the therapy hall, accented with gold decor, European furnishings, with a glow emanating from floor lanterns. At the end of the hall there are three large crystals on display with a backdrop painting of a peacock.
Guests can choose from a plethora of therapies including traditional massages, rituals combining Chinese wellness elements as well as a balancing massage that includes Ayurvedic essential oils. Couples can also treat themselves to a couples massage tailored to their needs. And if your skin is in need of some TLC, receive a custom-made facial or a hydrating Hydrafacial. You can also get an oxygen facial which will infuse your skin with vitamins and antioxidants to restore dehydrated skin.
If you’re in from out of town, don’t miss out on your daily work out and take full advantage of the 3,600-square-foot fitness center. With floor-to-ceiling windows you’ll have a great view of the city as you go for a jog on a Woodway treadmill or take a spin on a Peloton. Or sign up for fitness classes like Pilates, yoga, spin, and more.
