If you play your cards right, you’ll never have to be indoors (or pay) for a workout class this summer. Plus, with only a limited number of glorious sunshine and warm temperatures it’s within your prerogative as a Bostonian to make sure you tally up as many days outside as you can. Gather your friends and hit up one of these mostly free workout series outside happening in almost every single neighborhood of Boston, and the suburbs.

What to expect: Weekly evening fitness classes, and select Saturdays, including instructors like Kelly Brabants, Athena Concannon, Eliza Shirazi, Bron Volney, and more.
Legacy Fit at the Lawn at Legacy Place
Location: The Lawn at Legacy, 680 Legacy Place, Dedham

What to expect: Fitness classes like Kick It By Eliza, Pure Barre, and more. Plus, stroller bootcamp and full moon yoga.
Fit Row Sweat Series at Assembly Row
Location: Assembly Row, 355 Artisan Way, Somerville

What to expect: Try out all the classes featured at Assembly Row’s Fit Row including Barre N9ne, Cyclebar, and more. Plus, the entire summer programming includes dancing, yoga, and live local music and food.
Healthworks Summer Fitness Series
Location: Downtown Boston, Harvard, Chestnut Hill, Esplanade

What to expect: Two words: goat yoga. You can also expect Zumba, high-intensity workouts, self defense classes, and running the Harvard Stadium steps.
Summertime at The Street

What to expect: Back by popular demand are Kick It By Eliza and Yoga Under the Stars plus high-intensity total body workouts from Healthworks, 305 Fitness, and Forme Barre.
Boston Park’s Summer Fitness
Location: All public parks throughout Boston

What to expect: Whether you’re looking for weightlifting or yoga, this fitness series has pretty much everything under the sun (literally). You can also try things like salsa dancing, Afrobeat bootcamp, and Tai Chi.
Fit at the Pru
Location: The Garden at the Prudential Center, 800 Boylston St., Boston
Date: June 5-August 28
What to expect: Every Wednesday you can expect fitness classes hosted by Under Armour and Flywheel Sports in the central garden at the Pru. There will also be special giveaways and prizes that will change weekly.
Greenway Fitness Series
Location: All along the Rose Kennedy Greenway, specific locations vary
Date: June 3-September 26
What to expect: Every day of the week the Greenway will host regularly occurring fitness classes ranging from Zumba to lunchtime yoga. In addition, there will also be one-time events hosted throughout the summer.
