Eagle Wants Ring

Of course the whole Patriots thing is completely ridiculous by this point, but just in case anybody thought it couldn’t get any more loony, allow us to introduce you to Reno Mahe. For those of you not from Philly, Reno is known to locals as the guy who catches punts and then falls down. Two weeks ago he was cut by the only team that would even think of employing him. But now Reno wants justice. He wants his Super Bowl ring that the Pats “stole” from him.

“I think they should forfeit, man. We won the Super Bowl. I think we should get it. I’m going to go trade my NFC championship ring for a Super Bowl ring.”

But this is what the Patriots have allowed to happen. It’s open season and everyone’s taking a shot. Even backup punt returners.
