Is Clark Rockefeller the New Whitey Bulger?

Last weekend, we set our TiVo to catch fugitive mobster James “Whitey” Bulger’s most recent appearance on America’s Most Wanted. This Saturday, the story of kidnapper Clark Rockefeller (or whatever his real name is) will be featured on the program.

If authorities in New York hadn’t captured Rodlyn Petitbois last night, the true-crime show would probably be preparing to set up a Massachusetts Bureau.

Rockefeller and Bulger have a lot in common, although Rockefeller’s rap sheet is a lot less violent than Whitey’s.

Authorities have been inundated with calls from people saying they’ve seen Rockefeller and his daughter, Reigh Boss, or have had dreams about their whereabouts. If Rockefeller stays on the lam too much longer, dorky guys who love to perform in community theater will have to be just as vigilant on their yachts as Irish grandpas on vacation in Europe.
