Expect to see a little less of country-pop star Taylor Swift in these parts as US Weekly brings us the scoop of the year (okay, fine, the afternoon): She’s broken up with Deerfield Academy student Conor Kennedy:

“They quietly parted ways a while ago,” the friend explains of the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” crooner, 22, and the high school senior, 18. “It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They’re fine.”

R.I.P TayCon… No wait, Swifteddy? Alas, we didn’t even have time for a saccharine mash-up name. All that alleged wedding crashing and alleged house buying for nothing. This amicability is going to make for some really boring song lyrics whenever her next album comes out.
