This Kitten Got Its Head Stuck In the Back of a Computer Desk
Members of the Animal Rescue League were hard at work on Monday trying to get a kitten’s head out of a hole in the back of a computer desk after the animal tried to slip through the opening.
Here’s a photo they took mid-way through the process of trying to free the feline … during a water break:
Here is the other side of the computer desk. “The holes are not kitten tunnels,” they tweeted, referencing the opening for computer wires.
According to tweets from the Boston-based agency, rescuers arrived at the scene in Dorchester around 2:30 p.m., and used a small saw to carefully enlarge the hole. If a photo of a kitten with its head in a hole isn’t cute enough for the Internet, the Animal Rescue League added some extras to the mix, like this one of the kitten’s “littermate” observing the rescue scene. “[He] came over to investigate (or laugh) at his brother’s predicament,” they tweeted, just before finally freeing the animal from the hole in the desk.
The saga of the kitten stuck in the computer desk hole ended well, though. Rescuers freed the kitten from the wooden structure roughly 20 minutes after they began trying to widen the opening using various tools. The kitten made it out unscathed. “Free at last!” they said.
