It’s a tough call. Katherine Clark doesn’t yet seem to have pulled away from the pack, despite some early spending. My sense from afar—I’m hoping to spend some time on the ground now that the mayoral prelim’s over—is that it’s a jump ball between Clark and sheriff Peter Koutoujian, with Karen Spilka standing a fair chance, Will Brownsberger an outside chance, and Carl Sciortino a long-shot. And for now I’ll stick with my previous ranking of Sheriff K as the slight favorite.
