Barre to Bar for Find the Cause: Connect your workout to a good cause with Professionals for Prevention Society at a barre class from Simply Barre Southie, then head to Lion’s Tail Boston to celebrate the night.

Test Ride the New Boosted Boards: Come see what the new Boosted boards—electric long boards—are all about. Just don’t wipe out. The Boosted team will be handing out swag until it’s gone. Only people 16 years old and older are able to ride.

Fit + Fabulous Outdoor Series: CambridgeSide’s summer series features Sweat Fixxx this week with its Sculpt Fixxx class, meant as the perfect complement to the studio’s rowing classes, as a way to improve muscle mass. The class is free, but limited space is available.

Freedom Flag 5k on The Charles: Start your Fourth of July festivities a little early with this 5k on The Charles. All participants are asked to wear a red shirt and to pre-register, as pre-registered participants will receive a 4×6 American flag to carry during the race. This is an informal fun run, so roads will not be shut down.
