A New Athleisure Pop-Up in the Seaport Showcases Comfy Activewear
337 Brand is taking over a space in For Now with a fun line of basics from Jessica Lee.

Your options to shop for athleisure just grew by one storefront with a new athleisure pop-up in the Seaport. Joining the likes of Lululemon, Booty By Brabants, and Outdoor Voices comes 337 Brand, a company blending activewear and loungewear with a mission to give back to the environment.
The pop-up will occupy the For Now retail space on Seaport Boulevard until November 4 and will carry crop tops, dresses, shorts, and sweatshirts. Each item is chic enough to pair with something else for a day at the office with just the right amount of give to wear to a workout—or both, if that’s your style. Heck, pop in for an outfit and continue on your way to the new Burnin’ by Ray location for a quick sweat. The clothing looks less like activewear, which is the point, and more like something you could pair with jeans and some sneakers for a casual date night or throw on for lounging on the weekend.
Designer Jessica Lee started her fashion career right here in Boston at the School of Fashion Design on Newbury Street before moving to New York City for nine years where she created the brand, and is excited to come back to her roots, per a press release.
The brand’s environmentally-conscious ethos drives them to operate solely through a “closed-loop production system.” This means they collect post-consumer waste and recycle it to make new products. They utilize materials like up-cycled cotton, which is produced from the cotton fiber of discarded clothing and fabric scraps, and recycled polyester, which is made from post-consumer waste and plastic bottles. This reduces energy and material inefficiency during the production of the clothing, guaranteeing a product with almost zero waste.
But the brand’s environmentalism doesn’t stop there: They donate $1 per purchase to Vermont-based non-profit “One Tree Planted,” which assists in the reforestation of areas devastated by humans or nature.
